The Ladies event saw the the 'Ladies who
Lunch!' take on the baby sitting population of the village - plus a couple of
older 'ringers' such as Cathy and Alex - who had obviously been studying the
form.
However on the second pull disaster struck -
Despite David checking every inch of the rope for slight defects, it obviously
hadn't been good enough as' they all ended up on the floor! After this set back, the 'Senior' team
discussed new tactics but they never fully recovered and were beaten by 2 Pulls
to 1. |
The
'Seniors' started well and after a brief haul had overpowered their younger
rivals.
To rapturous celebration by the
more youthful opposition.
